Members of the Film France, which is a part of the French Film Board, met the south Indian film producers recently to highlight the benefits they would get for film shootings in that country. In this meeting, it was decided to honor Kamal Haasan and director KS Ravi Kumar with an award for shooting a major portion of Manmadhan Ambu in France.

As Madanagopal, the ever suspicious fiancé, Madhavan shone in Manmadhan Ambu. When quizzed about the movie getting not so great reviews, Maddy says that he is happy with the responses and that though MA was no Endhiran in the box office, it did have its share of success.

The theatres in USA are gearing up for Pongal releases. This means, Manmadhan Ambu, which hit the screens in 23 December 2010, will be out of theatres. Manmadhan Ambu’s last weekend shows are on and this could be your final chance to watch the movie on the silver screen in US.

Raaj Kamal Theatre was abuzz with activity as Kamal Haasan had a special screening of Manmadhan Ambu for his Kollywood buddies. Notable among those present at this screening were Parthiban and Prabhu. Both these actors could not stop raving about Kamal’s performance in this film and had some good words for Manmadhan Ambu’s director KS Ravi Kumar as well.
